Neuropathy (aka peripheral neuropathy or neuritis)

Refers to many conditions that involve damage to the peripheral nervous system. More than 100 types of neuropathy have been identified; each type presents its own symptoms and prognosis. Symptoms vary on the types of nerves—motor, sensory or autonomic—that are damaged.
