THE 3 COURSES

  • COURSE 1: All Things Testosterone is designed to take you from A to Z in men’s health. Start with foundational anatomy and physiology. Then, learn how to apply therapeutics and clinical concepts as you work with patients and prescribers to optimize outcomes. $495 USD | 5 hours of educational credit
  • COURSE 2: Screening - Treatment - Monitoring covers the testing of male hormones, understanding common symptoms men experience, and how to monitor patients to obtain the best therapeutic outcomes. $495 USD | 5 hours of educational credit
  • COURSE 3: All Things NOT Testosterone covers the various health problems unique to men other than testosterone issues, including: erectile dysfunction, lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), overactive bladder, Peyronie’s disease and premature ejaculation. $495 USD | 5 hours of educational credit

GO FURTHER & BECOME A MEN'S HEALTH SPECIALIST

  • Unlike other C4 courses, attendance at a live event is not required to earn the Men’s Health Specialist designation. 
  • A Men’s Health Compounding Specialist designation will be awarded to pharmacists who (1) complete all 3 courses (each must be completed within 90 days) AND (2) achieve a passing score of 70% or greater on each course’s content.
  • This designation will provide you with a competitive marketing advantage as you serve patients and prescribers who are seeking a specialized compounding pharmacist.
  • Specialists will receive a certificate, a lapel pin and a marketing kit with tools to self-promote their new academic designation among patients and peers.

Note: Becoming a specialist is completely optional − you may choose to complete only one or two courses. Recertification of your Men’s Health Specialist designation is NOT required. Only pharmacists are eligible for the specialist designation.

Learning Objectives

COURSE 1: All Things Testosterone

  • Understand why testosterone is so vital to men’s health
  • Discuss exactly what it means to be an androgen, and how androgens are different from other sex hormones
  • Understand the major actions of testosterone in males
  • Discuss whether prostate cancer is a real or false threat to testosterone supplementation
  • Understand the different types of hypogonadism

COURSE 2: Screening - Treatment - Monitoring

  • Describe relevant lab values, their uses in clinical practice and how to read and interpret them
  • Explain the importance of weight maintenance, exercise, and nutrition in the aging male patient
  • Describe ideal starting doses for patients on testosterone and other male therapies as well as common side effects
  • Discuss the importance of monitoring patients on testosterone therapy and how to evaluate treatment and discuss options with the prescriber

COURSE 3: All Things NOT Testosterone

  • Describe erectile dysfunction, lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), overactive bladder, Peyronie’s disease and premature ejaculation
  • Explain the impact of these 5 health problems on men
  • Evaluate various treatments for erectile dysfunction

To access the course after the 90-day period, you must re-register and submit a payment for the full amount.
